Chief Nnoruka Udechukwu: Succinct Profile
Chief Nnoruka Udechukwu, a senior partner of Aina Blankson was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 1996 and has represented several persons and Corporations; local and international, in several complex and multilateral legal disputes. A litigator per excellence, Udechukwu has an uncommon passion for litigation which has seen him successfully represent Clients in several landmark decisions both at the Supreme Court of Nigeria as well as the Court of Appeal. His contribution to the refinement of legal jurisprudence in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized.
Chief Udechukwu began his legal adventure as a State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice in 1978. He had a brief stint with corporate practice while at the Nigeria Industrial Development Bank in 1979 before delving into ‘full-time’ private legal practice in 1980. In recognition of the distinctive achievements in his legal career, the Anambra State Government, in 2003 appointed Udechukwu as the Honourable Attorney General/Commissioner of Justice, a position he held until 2006. He has also served at different times on several Government Commissions and is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association. Udechukwu currently leads the Litigation Group of Aina Blankson, a firm notable for its strides in corporate commercial litigation in over decades of its existence.”
